Duelle was created by Dr Chris Spalding and his wife Teresa — practitioners with backgrounds in Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Biochemistry, and Medical Pathology, and a shared belief in treating the root cause, not just the symptoms. Dr Spalding holds Doctorates in Chiropractic and Osteopathy, with extensive expertise in the biochemistry and pathology of hormonal imbalance. Teresa holds a Diploma in Medical Pathology. Together, they bring decades of research and clinical insight, along with more than a decade of hands-on experience in medical pathology testing.

When Teresa developed perimenopausal symptoms at 38 — hot flushes, poor sleep, irritability, and low energy — it became personal. Drawing on decades of research and clinical experience, they developed a combination of plant-based natural extracts that restored balance and quality of life for Teresa, their daughter, and daughters-in-law. In the late 90s, Dr Spalding published Hormone Replacement Therapy: The Natural Option — addressing what no one was talking about at the time.
